Usage of the digital-factory-data/patches/groovy folder

Question

In order to industrialize the usage of groovy scripts, the customer would like to know if the usage of the digital-factory-data/patches/groovy folder is the right way

Cause

The goal is to place groovy scripts in this folder in order to be executed out of the groovy console.

Solution

Actually, placing a groovy script in the folder[Jahia]/digital-factory-data/patches/groovy will trigger the automatic execution of this script.

As soon as a groovy script is copied in this folder, it is executed by the service[GroovyPatcher] then it is renamed with an extension .installed.
