Couldn't find the template associated with site system site

Question

The access to the site was broken due to this error:

2016-09-22 11:50:09,376: ERROR [WebContainer : 2] org.jahia.services.render.filter.RenderChain: 
    Error while rendering the resource: Resource{node=/users/root, primaryNodeTypeName='jnt:user', templateType='html', template='projects', configuration='page'}
     -> javax.jcr.PathNotFoundException: Couldn't find the template associated with site systemsite. Please check that all its dependencies are started.

Cause

The Jahia System Templates (templates-system) bundle was not in status "Active".

Solution

The Jahia System Templates (templates-system) bundle has to be restarted with the OSGi console.
