Managing content-items

In the Jahia lingo, content is a generic term to designate any type of information, whether it is a simple field that contains a text (even rich text with some html styling) or a more structured and complex item with various fields predefined to host specific types of values. For instance a Press Release is a content item composed of multiple fields : a title, a header, the body of the PR, a date of issue, a place of issue, a contact field, etc.
